Stay up to date on the real estate market in your area with the customized reports based on your price range, location, or additional property features.

The widget has three parts: Status, Type and Time. You can use any of these items to focus on the area and properties you want.

 If you don’t make any changes to the Status, Type, or Time settings, the Market Watch widget is looking at the FMLS database as a whole, including all data share partners.

Viewing Properties

The time frame definitions are:

24 Hour: Properties that have been entered into system or had a change in the last 24 hours; uses the exact time to calculate.

Today: Properties that have been entered into system or had a change since midnight for that day; uses the date to calculate.

3 Day: Properties that have been entered into system or had a change for the last three days; uses date to calculate.

7 Day: Properties that have been entered into system or had a change for the last three days; uses date to calculate.

In the below example, the New Listing link was used. Notice that the default view on the grid is Hot Sheet. To change the view, click the arrow on the Display drop down and select the desired view.

Customizing the Widget

You can customize the Market Watch widget so that you can see only certain types of new activity based on your business needs.

1. From the Agent Dashboard, Market Watch Widget, click Customize.

The Market Watch search screen opens. The Property Type will be based on which one you had selected when the Customize button was clicked.

2. Select the MLS System, geographical area, and/or features as desired. Additional fields may be added. NOTE: Additional fields that have been added to the regular search screen do not carry over to this screen.

3. Click Save. The Agent Dashboard appears. Clicking then on any link in the Market Watch Widget reflects only those properties that match the customized criteria. NOTE: You will know you have customized criteria when the Reset link appears on the widget.

Market Watch Map Search

1. From the Agent Dashboard Market Watch Widget, click Customize. The Market Watch search screen opens.

2. To search using the map, click the Map Search link. The map search screen opens.

3. Use the Map tools to select specific areas to watch. Note: The Map Drawing Tools are located on the right side of the screen.

4. Click OK.

5. Click Save. The Agent Dashboard appears. Clicking then on any link in the Market Watch Widget reflects only those properties that match the customized criteria.

Set your Location

A default location can be set for the map.

With the map open, click and drag to position the map for the area desired.

Click the Set Default Location link. The next time the Market Watch Map is opened it defaults to the location set.

Using the Jump to Feature

To quickly position the map to your current location, click the drop down arrow next to Jump To and select My Current Location.

Reset Market Watch Widget

To reset all customizations to the Market Watch widget, simply click the Reset link in the widget. (You will need to do this for each property type that you’ve customized.)
