Data Currency

Data Currency

Data currency refers to how fresh (current) the data is.  Note that data is presented to Matrix from the county, Matrix does not pull data upon request at the time of a search.

To view Data currency, do a search on a property and on the results tab’s Tax report, click the Data Currency link found in the upper right corner.

A popup window will appear showing the date different types of data were presented from the county:

To the left will appear the county name in which the viewed property is located.  Columns for Assessed Values, Tax Amounts, Sale Recording Date, Foreclosure Recording Date, and RealAVM Valuations show the last updated date of that type of data.

This is important to note because any activities of these kinds that have happened since the date shown will not appear in Matrix.  As an example, in the screen shown above the Sale Recording Date was updated to 5/1/2019 on 5/10/2019.  This means that on the 10th of the month a file was received and processed for the county which included sale activities up to the 1st of that month.  Therefore, any sales which were recorded after the first of May would not be shown in Matrix.

To see a full list of counties with their currency dates, click on the Data Currency Report for all counties link found at the bottom of this popup.
