Viewing Public Records Data

Viewing Public Records Data

After clicking the Tax ID of a property found from performing a Public Records Search the Tax screen appears.

Note that standard system navigation applies.  To return to the results grid, click the “Tax Grid display” link at the top center in the gray bar.  To return to Criteria or to view all results of the search on a map, click the corresponding tab in the upper right-hand corner of the report.  To cycle through the matches of the search, use the Previous or Next links in the upper left, as applicable.

At the top of the Tax page you will see the address of the property including any flags brought over from the results grid (such as Auction, Foreclosure, or Listing Status indicators).  Directly below that will appear links to the Tax data, Last Listing, Photos, History, Parcel Map, Flood Map, and Foreclosure information.  If any tab has no data to show, that tab will be grayed out.  As shown in the screen shot above, since there is no Foreclosure history, the Foreclosure tab is not available.

Sections of the Tax screen include Owner Information, Location Information, Estimated Value, Tax Information, Assessment and Taxes, Characteristics, and Last Market Sale.

The Last Listing tab will show the agent report of the most recent listing from the system.  If a listing is currently on the market, it will pull the current listing.

The Photos tab will pull photos from the corresponding listing shown from the Last Listing tab.

History will pull Listing, Sale, and Mortgage history

Parcel Map displays a Satellite and Map view (including one zoomed in to display approximate lot dimensions).  The maps can be customized to pan, zoom and the larger map allows for layers to be added.

The Flood Map tab displays the current FEMA flood zone overlay onto the nearby map.  The property is highlighted in a purple color for convenience.  To remove this highlight, click anywhere on the map outside of the property itself.  The map can be panned and zoomed to your liking.  Note that the legend used to understand the coloring on the map appears at the bottom of the map itself.

The Foreclosure tab will share information from the public record regarding recording date, Auction Date
