Agent Settings

Agent Settings

As an Agent, you'll want the ability to control how your name, email signature, agent photo and other aspects of your appearance to your clients when you use Matrix.  This is accomplished by way of the My Information section in the Settings options.  To access this, log in to Matrix and click the Hello message in the upper right corner.

A menu will drop down, select Settings

On the screen that appears, select the My Information button.

When your Information screen appears, there will be tabs along the top of that window, use the guide below for information about each tab.

Information Tab

This page allows you to manage the personal information used by Matrix. For each of the fields below you can either use the value from your roster entry, if there is one, or enter a value manually. It is recommended that you use the roster value whenever one is available.

Certain fields can be overridden as indicated by checkmarks to the right.  Examples of when you might prefer information to be different than what’s on file might include that although your name is Christopher or Christina you prefer to go by Chris or by your middle name or any other preferred name.  Because the Matrix system does not influence how contracts are written, it’s acceptable to be more ‘familiar’ with your clients in their portals and communications through Matrix.

Information that is overridden in this way does not populate into listings or any other systems with the preferred data entered.  It is intended and works solely for use in communication in the Matrix system and is typically found in the header of the client portal as a digital medium or if the header is included in printouts.

Use this page to customize the personal header which is displayed on printed reports; that is listings you send through emails as a printed report such as Buyer Full, Buyer Full with Map, etc. You can select from a library of standard banner images for your Header, each with a complementary color scheme for your branding, or upload your own. You can also customize your Print Footer. Any changes you make may take several minutes to reflect.

  1. To change this banner and information, click Select a different banner image/theme. The templates list opens.

  2. Scroll down to view all choices.

  3. Click the radio button to select. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and click Preview. The Print Header Screen opens with your new header.

Adding a Photo

On the Print Header you may add your own picture.

  1. In the Photo section, click Use Custom Photo radio button

  2. When the Select Photo window opens, click Browse. Browse to and select the desired photo.
  3. Once the photo loads, click Save.

Setting a Footer

  1. To add a print footer, scroll down to the Printer Footer section.

  2. Click the checkbox next to Yes. The screen resets.

  3. Click the first Branding field drop down arrow. A list appears to select items to appear on the footer.

  4. Continue to select additional items to be used on the footer.
  5. Click Save.

CMA Cover Sheet

Before you do your first CMA in Matrix, you should set up the CMA cover sheet to reflect the information you want on your future CMAs.

The information on this screen pulls from your roster information. If you want to change any of the information, click the Override? check box.  The fields become editable. Make your changes.

NOTE: When you change the information on this screen, it changes for CMAs only. It does not change your roster information.

To upload a photo that appears on the cover, click the Upload Photo link. Browse to and select a photo from your computer.  When you are done, click Save. Your photo appears at the bottom of the CMA Cover page.
