Uploading Listing Photos

Uploading Listing Photos

Photographs that accompany listings play a significant role in attracting buyers.  Because more than 90% of home buyers begin their search online (and eliminate homes for viewing based on photographs), FMLS sends listing data - including photos - to Realtor.com, and listing Brokers may choose to have listing data sent out to many different public-facing websites.

To upload listing photos you have 2 choices;

  • Upload yourself
  • Invite your professional photographer to upload them for you

To upload yourself, you may either drag and drop or browse to select your photos.  Click in the square to activate.

Locate the location on your computer where your photos are stored. Select your photos. The photos load into the screen. To upload Multiple photos at once, hold the Ctrl (Option) key down when clicking on the filenames. For maximum quality, upload photos at least 1024 x 768 pixels in size.

If needed, change the Preferred Photo.

To rearrange the order, click and hold on the Move Icon  and drag the photo to the new location.

Photo captions are not required but strongly recommended. Because photos are so critical to the online marketing of listings, Matrix enables you to name each photo, and add descriptive text.  Thoughtful descriptions of each picture add to the online presence of your listing – selling the rooms sells the house!

Invite Your Photographer

To invite a photographer, click the Invite Photographer button.

A popup opens when you enter the photographers email address.

Enter the email address and click Send. A confirmation box appears.

Your photographer receives an email similar to the one below.

When the Upload Photos button is clicked, Remine opens and the photographer must re-enter email address for security.

When Continue is clicked, a new screen opens to allow drag and drop or select the files to upload.

The pictures are added in the order of selection. As the agent you will need to go back into the listing and change the order, if desired, and add photo captions.
