You can use the Search Map to locate your geographical farming area or to search for properties.
To access the Search Map, select Search from the navigation menu on the left-hand side. The following page opens.
Understanding Searching
Above the map is a search bar. Clicking the search bar allows you to select from several different search categories.
The selectable categories are as follows…
Places: To search for specific places such as exact property addresses and schools, or geographic indicators such as cities, zip codes, and neighborhoods. (Tip: It is usually best to type the beginning of the address then allowing the results to populate and select from there.)
People: To search for people, i.e. homeowners.
APN/PIN: To search for Tax/PIN/Parcel ID
MLS #: To search by specific FMLS #
Agents: To search for specific agents
Office: To search for specific Offices (brokerages)
Below the search bar you will find the option to Add Filters from a drop-down menu. Filters allow you to narrow your search based on a variety of criteria. The available filters will vary depending on if your search category is set to Listing or Properties, and Residential or Commercial. To add a filter, select it from the Add Filter menu and assign your desired values or make your desired selections. When complete, your filter will be added to the right. You can combine multiple filters to refine your searches.
Top-bar filters can be combined with Layers on the left-hand side of the map to perform powerful searches.
Understanding Results
Properties matching your search criteria appear with blue dots on the map. Large blue dots with numbers are called Property Clusters.
Property Clusters are displayed on the map when you are zoomed too far out and/or there are too many individual property dots to display at one time on the map. Zooming in close enough on the map will eventually show individual blue dots. A single small blue dot represents an individual property.
Cluster: Individuals:
To the right of the map, a list of properties matching your search criteria is shown. These are called Property Cards. After clicking on an individual blue dot on the map, that property’s Property Card will be selected and brought to the top of the list. You can then click the property card to view more details about the property. This will also allow you to share the property or add it to a Property Cart.
In the upper right corner above the list of property cards to the right of the map, you can also opt to hide the map and view all of the search results in List View by clicking “List”.
To return back to the Map view, click Map.
Pinning Filters & Saving Searches
When selecting filters to search for, you also have the option of pinning them.
Pinning a filter will make it a default selection for you, allowing you to quickly customize frequently used filters in the future. Your selected pinned filters will be saved separately depending on if you are searching for Listings vs. Properties and Residential vs. Commercial, effectively allowing you to save your preferred filter setup depending on what you are looking for in Remine.
Apart from filters that you have pinned, if you wish to clear your filters, you can select “Clear All Filters” in the upper right corner of the search screen. (This option will only appear when unpinned filters have been added.)
In the top right corner, you will also find the option to Save Search, allowing you to save your currently selected location, filters, and map layers collectively.
