In CloudMLX you can use the bar along the top of the screen to quickly start searching for listings. You might type Roswell then press enter then type 5 bed and press enter. The system will quickly show you 5 bedroom listings in Roswell.
For a more guided experience, you can also type help in the bar at the top to see a drop down Advanced Search menu:
This menu can also be brought up by clicking the slider bar icon found to the right of the search bar:
To the right of the slider bar icon is a folded map icon. Clicking this icon will show the map. On the right side of the map will be a menu with two choices:
These icons will allow you to draw shapes on the map. The bottom icon will create a square or rectangular shape while the top icon will allow for a polygon.
If you chose a polygon, click on the map at the various points around the edge of the area you'd like to define. The last place you click on the map will need to be where you first clicked so that it knows to "close up" that shape.
If you chose a rectangle, click and drag from one corner to the opposite corner of the area you'd like to define then let your mouse button go.
Once the map area is defined, a small window over the area will appear:
If you choose, you can label this area and click Save. This will then add that name to your search bar as a criteria item (similar to typing "Roswell" and "5 beds" as described above). If you choose not to name the area and click "Not Now" it will simply add the shape to your criteria with "Custom Area" added to your search bar at the top. If you made a mistake you can "x" out of the Save this Area box in the upper right corner.
If you have criteria in the bar at the top of the window that you'd like to remove, simply click on the criteria to remove it.
