Adding an Open House or Caravan
Open Houses and Caravans can now be added directly from Matrix.
NEW! You can now add a virtual open house to your listings in Matrix! Adding them is easy. Just select "Virtual" from the Open House Type dropdown, and add your URL link at the bottom.
We've also added an open house tab to the Matrix 360 tabs at the top of the detail reports to make them even more visible!
1. To add and Open House, Caravan or Virtual Open House, click on the Add/Edit tab. The Input window opens.
2. Do one of the following:
- Click the drop down arrow next to the Select a Listing field and click to select the listing
- Type the FMLS# in the MLS field.
The Modify Listing screen opens.
3. Click on the Manage Open House link.
The Manage Open Houses screen opens.
4. Verify the Listing Information.
5. Select the Open House type from the drop-down: Open House or Caravan.
6. Type in the date of the Open House, or use the calendar to select a date.
7. Type in the start time of the Open House. Select AM or PM.
8. Type in the end time of the Open House. Select AM or PM.
9. In the Active Status field, select Yes if this Open House is currently Active.
10. Select the type of Refreshments that will be served during the Open House, if any.
11. Type in Comments for your Open House.
NOTE: The Public Remarks will not autofill into these Remarks; you must enter them.
12. If this is a Virtual Open House, enter the URL link in the Virtual Open House URL field .
13. If you want to add another Open House date to this listing, click More.
14. When you are done, click Submit Listing to save the Open House information.
