Sharing All or Part of your RealReports

Sharing All or Part of your RealReports

To share your RealReport with others, several options are available.

Before sharing methods are discussed, consider whether ALL of the information on the report is something you want to share with your clients.  There may be sections that you want to suppress from sharing.

If there are sections of the report you would just like to take out in general, for all reports moving forward, check this page for helpful information.  If just want to modify the visibility of sections for this specific report, you will want to use the printer icon when sharing your report, scroll down for info on Printing the report.

At the top of the report, where the address is located, the options are presented immediately to the right of the property address.

Clicking on the first icon  displays the following pop-up:

The first choice in the window is to allow the sharing of the report or to make it inaccessible.  For example, you may have the sharing on while a client is in the market and then turn it off once their transaction is completed (or when the information is no longer relevant).
The second choice deals with Lead capture and is only available on the upgraded reports.  This might be useful for example, if you're generating this report for your listing and want to share the report on social media.  (For information on Lead Generation, click here for a 2 minute video.)

Below those two settings you will see three buttons; Copy Link, Email, or QR code.

A good use case of the Copy Link button might be if you're crafting an email to a client and you don't want to bombard them with multiple emails, you can easily copy this link into the email along with the other information you're wanting to send them.

Clicking the Email button will open a window asking for the email address you're wanting to send the report to as well as the ability to craft the message in the email body.  Once an email address has been entered, the Send button will enable, allowing you to click it and send the report to your desired recipient.

Warning
Note! Using the Email button will send the email from the RealReports system and the sender will simply say, "DoNotReply".  If you're worried about your emails being flagged as spam or otherwise looked over by the client if they're not specifically from you, you may want to consider one of the other options (or letting your client know beforehand)

Should you desire a QR code, clicking the button will generate the code and download it to your computer. (This will go to your browser's default download location.)  A good use case here might be if you're creating a flyer for your listing and you'd want a potential client to see this report with all of the details included.

Printing the Report

The second option is indicated by the printer icon.  This option allows you first to choose the sections you want to generate in the report.  Once you click on the printer, the screen shows these options:

You can choose to include a cover page using your agent branding choices from the account menu in RealReports.

Below that, the RealReport Summary acts as a short report, summarizing each selected section rather than the full amount of data and graphs and charts.  You first gain control of what portions of the report are shared at this point.  If you click the down arrow to the right of the RealReport Summary header, a list of all sections will be shown.  Deselect any section you do not want to be included in the report.

The final option, Individual Report Sections, will present you with the same choices as above, but the difference here is that this will be the FULL report with higher levels of detail (and more pages!)

Info
Note that it IS possible to check a section in the Summary list AND the same section in the Individual Report Section.  This should be avoided as the data will be redundant (you'd get the summary AND the details) and a lot of paper, ink, and time thumbing through a very lengthy report)

Once you've made your selections on this window, click Print.   Your browser/system's print window will come up.

Idea
If you don't want to print the report to paper but want the control of determining what sections are included in your report, most if not all modern browsers allow the option to print to a PDF
