Setting Agent Preferences

You can set your preferences whether you are the Showing agent or the Listing Agent. FMLS has set defaults for you. You may leave them as is or customize to your needs.

Please note: Showing Agents can only set preferences in ShowingTime if their Broker has allowed them to configure listing preferences.

1.     Access ShowingTime from the External links widget.

2.     From the Home tab on the ShowingTime Control Panel click Edit Profile:


The Profile Screen opens:


3. In the Profile Basics section, verify the information it contains and make any updates needed.

4. Update your phone information. Click the drop-down under Phone Type and select from the drop-down list of choices:


5. Enter your email address in the Email field. The Date Joined and Showing Pin fields are not used.

6. To receive text messages, you will need to make sure a Mobile Phone is entered in the fields above and then select it from the drop-down box next in the Text Message field.

7. Use the table below to set up the information/preferences for when you are the Listing Agent and when you are the Showing Agent:

Allow Agents To Request Appointments Online?

Yes – allows agents to request appointments online

No – disables online appointment requests for all your listings

 

Default Appointment Mode

Select from the drop-down list of choices, one of the following:

·         Appointment Required

·         Go and Show

·         View Instructions Only

Note: You can override the default instructions on individual listings, so choose the one you will use most often.

 

Notifications for Appointments on my Listings

This section defines what type of notifications you will receive for requests to show your listings. The top section is when you are the Listing Agent; the next section is when you are the Showing Agent. You should set up for both.


In the example above, you would receive an email and a robo call when an appointment is requested; a text and an email when appointments are confirmed or canceled.

If you select ShowingVoice, you will receive notifications from a number with an 877 prefix -- (877) 351-7469. To ensure you do not receive ShowingVoice requests, please uncheck the radio button under ShowingVoice.

 

When a phone call is placed to request approval to show a property, the information you hear includes the agent name, office, the property address they wish to show along with the date, time and any notes added by the showing agent. 1-Accept, 2-Hear message again, 3- Decline, 0 – Be connected to showing agent directly.

 

Text Msg (SMS)  - comes through regular text, text charges may apply

Push Msg - Comes directly from the app

Feedback Requests

Choose the options for feedback.

·         Yes – a request for Feedback is sent at the end of the ShowingTime appointment

·         # of Times/Requests – select from dropbox how many times you want to request feedback from the Showing Agent and the number of days in between requests.

Notifications for Appointments I Request

Make selections for how you like to receive requests when you are the Showing Agent. Click the checkbox to select or unselect.

Feedback Requests

Place a check mark in the box if you want to receive feedback requests from other agents when you are the Listing Agent.

Multi-Unit

Select if you would like per unit notifications for multi-unit listings.

Lockbox Access


Ensure that the Supra/iBox radio button is selected.

8. Additional Preferences:


In this section, you set preferences for your notifications. You may also select a “quiet time” when you would not like to receive notifications.

9. If you are using the Mobile App, you will need to Authenticate before you can use the app. Click the link to email authentication instructions.

 


NOTE: The ShowingTime Mobile App can be downloaded from the Apple Apps store or for Androids, use Google Play.

 

 

10. The Appointment Download Service Key is not used. 

11. When you are done, click the green Save Changes button at the top of the screen.

 

 

Upload a Photo


1. Click Upload Photo.

2. Browse to and select your photo.  You receive a message that the photo uploaded.

3. Click OK.
