What Is Matrix Mobile

What is Matrix Mobile?

Matrix Mobile is designed to empower agents with the ability to accomplish many of the most common tasks, whether in the office or on the road.

Matrix Mobile has been optimized for maximum speed and performance, and like any limited-functionality mobile version of an application, some trade-offs in functionality are inevitable.

Why use Matrix Mobile? With Matrix Mobile, you can:

  • View property photos and map locations on your phone
  • Email listings to clients
  • Add listings to a Cart
  • Track and view multiple listings in your Cart
  • Email all listings in the Cart to a client
  • Search properties, agents, or offices
  • View your Saved Matrix Searches
  • View all Contacts in Matrix

How Do I Download Matrix Mobile

Matrix Mobile is NOT a stand-alone app requiring a special download and/or various edition upgrades; rather, it is a mobile-enabled website that provides a read-only, slimmed-down version of what Matrix users access during the desktop experience.

1. Open the browser on your mobile device and in the address field type in fmls.mlsmatrix.com The Matrix Mobile login screen appears.

2. Enter your usual FMLS user name and password in the fields.  Tap Sign In. The Matrix Mobile Home Page opens.



You may bookmark Matrix on the home screen of your mobile device and access the system this way.


How Do I Get From Mobile To The Full Site

To return back to the regular Matrix site from mobile, tap on the Full Site link on the main Matrix Mobile screen.



How Do I View Saved Searches?

You can view Saved Searches by tapping My Matrix on the Home Page, then tap Saved Searches


The list of saved searches appears.  Scroll down or use the search field to find the search you want then tap it to open.




How Do I Access Recent Searches

You may view your most recent searches by tapping the Recent Searches link at the bottom of the search screen.

From the Home Page tap Search.


From the Search screen, scroll down and tap on the Recent Searches link.



How Do I Use Carts In Matrix Mobile

You can add any listing to a cart.

1. From the Listings Details screen, tap +Cart button.


2. A listing of Carts opens.

Note: You cannot create or delete a new cart from the mobile view, you can only manage the contents of existing carts.  To add or delete a cart, switch to the full view.

3. Tap the Cart you want to place the listing in.


The listing is now in the cart for future use.





Editing Listings In Mobile

You can use the Edit Listing option in Matrix Mobile anytime you need to make changes to the listing, even after you have submitted it. You will also use this option to edit a listing when you need to change a Price, update Remarks, and Change status.

1. From the Matrix Mobile Home Page, tap My Matrix.


2. Tap My Listings.


3. Tap My Editable Listings.


4. Tap the listing you want to edit.


5. The listing opens.


6. Tap the Edit button.


7. The list of available edit options opens. Tap to select the option you want.

NOTE: The same rules apply on the mobile site as they do in regular Matrix, so any required fields must be filled in before the changes can be submitted.


PRICE CHANGE

You may change the list price by typing in the new price and tapping Submit.


The confirmation screen appears. Click the link to view the listing.




PUBLIC REMARKS

You may change the Public Remarks by typing in the new remarks and tapping Submit.

NOTE: You cannot change Private Remarks while in Matrix Mobile. You must use regular Matrix to make those changes.

 

The confirmation screen appears. Click the link to view the listing.




CHANGE TO ACTIVE

You may change the status to Active by selecting Active from the drop down list.  Change the Listing Date and the Expiration Date by typing in the date or selecting from the calendar. Tap Submit.


The confirmation screen appears. Click the link to view the listing.



CHANGE TO PENDING

You may change the status to Pending by selecting Pending from the drop down list.  Change the date fields by typing in the date or selecting from the calendar. Enter the Selling Agent’s name by typing name in field. Select from the list provided. Tap Submit.


The confirmation screen appears. Click the link to view the listing.



CHANGE TO HOLD/POA

You may change the status to Hold/POA by selecting Hold/POA from the drop down list.  Change the date fields by typing in the date or selecting from the calendar. Enter the Selling Agent’s name. Tap Submit.


The confirmation screen appears. Click the link to view the listing.
