Introduction
FMLS Marketplace is the online management system, which FMLS brokers and agents can view and select the assorted 3rd party products that integrate directly with the listing data in FMLS. As a principle broker, you have the ability to control your agent’s access to these products as well as select which participating 3rd party products you would like to use and which portals you would like FMLS to directly syndicate your listings to.
The Marketplace Dashboard is accessed via logging into FMLS.com, and clicking Data Marketplace:
In the table below you will find a brief description of each option, then a more in-depth explanation follows.
Browse Products | View a list of all the approved products on Marketplace, sortable by vendor, product name and product type (IDX, CMA, CRM, etc.) |
My Subscriptions | Displays a list of active product subscriptions for yourself. These subscriptions would “follow you” should the principle broker move companies. |
Brokerage Subscriptions | Displays a list of active product subscriptions for your company. These subscriptions stay with the company, should the principle broker leave. |
Access Manager | The Access Manager allows you to control which agents have access to use the FMLS Marketplace system. |
Delegate Manager | As the principle broker, use this area to allow other members of your office access to subscribe to products as a “Company,” as well as, allow agent access to Marketplace via the “Access Manager.” |
Matrix IDX Search Link | Within the Matrix system, an iframe can be created, for use on your website, which will search the available listings in the Matrix system. |
FMLS Search Control Panel (Office) | FMLS offers a URL link that can be iFramed into a brokerage website. This is offered at no charge. This link accesses a company branded link. |
FMLS Search Control Panel (Agent) | FMLS offers a URL link that can be iFramed into a brokerage website. This is offered at no charge. This link accesses an individual agent branded link. |
Browse Products
Selecting this option accesses the Marketplace Product List. This screen is a list of all the approved products on Marketplace. This list is sortable by vendor, product name and product type (IDX, CMA, CRM, etc.).
1. Scroll through the list or use the Search box to find the service you with to add.
2. Click on the product name and the Marketplace Product Details screen opens.
3. Click to select the option you wish to use. A dialog box appears confirming your selection.
4. If you made the selection in error, return to the Marketplace Product Details screen and click Unsubscribe from this Product.
My Subscriptions
The My Subscriptions list displays a list of active product subscriptions for yourself. These subscriptions would "follow you" should the principle broker move companies.
To remove a subscription, simply click on the name and the Marketplace Details screen opens with the Unsubscribe options.
Brokerage Subscriptions
This screen shows a list of active product subscriptions for your company. These subscriptions stay with the company, should the principle broker leave.
Access Manager
The Access Manager allows you to control which agents have access to use the FMLS Marketplace system. If you wish to enable access for an entire office, you can use the "Add Brokerage" function instead of the "Add Agent" function.
Add Brokerage
Use this option to grant all agents in the selected brokerage access to the FMLS Marketplace system. Click to select.
To remove a brokerage, use the Remove Brokerage box below.
Add Agent
Use this option to grant individual agents in the selected brokerage access to the FMLS Marketplace system. Click to select.
To remove a brokerage, use the Remove Agent box at the bottom of the screen.
Delegate Access Manager
As the principle broker, you can use this area to allow other members of your office access to subscribe to products on your behalf as a "Company," as well as allow agent access to Marketplace via the "Access Manager."
Scroll through the list to select or you may use the Delegate filter to search for a member.
Matrix IDX Search Link
Within the Matrix system, users can create an iframe to embed on their website. To access this iframe either click the link from Marketplace and then select IDXConfiguration, or from within Matrix navigate to My Matrix > Settings > IDX Configuration.
Select IDX Page:
If this is your first time creating an IDX page, you will simply click “Create a New IDX Page” and in the “Name” field, title the page. If you have created pages in the past, they will also appear in this list, and selecting them will bring up their specific configuration information.
Form Selection:
Currently there are two pages available. Your selection will determine how the search page operates:
My Listings: If you only want your own listings to be displayed, select this form. Only listings associated with your username as the listing agent will be displayed.
Map Search: For a full search of the available listings, the Map Search form should be selected.
Map Area:
When using the Map Search form, you can configure the map settings. You will be able to limit searches to a certain geographic region, as well as specify an initial map view.
Activation:
Once you have configured your search options, selecting IDX Enabled and clicking “Save” will generate an iframe code within the HTML box. This code can then be embedded into your website, providing your users with a search of FMLS listings.
FMLS Search Control Panel (Office)
FMLS offers a URL link that can be iFramed into a brokerage website. This is offered at no charge. This link accesses a company branded link. On creation of the link, you will need to enter your homepage address. Once that is done, you will be directed to a control panel for the search engine.
On the control panel, you will have the ability to upload your brokerage logo, as well as modify some selections:
Framing URL Link:
This is the actual link, which can be embedded into an iFrame, and will provide a search page for your website.
Company URL Link:
This link can be embedded into an iFrame, and will provide a search results page of listings where your office is the listing office.
Show Property Address:
By selecting “Yes,” the address of a listing will appear on the search results and property detail pages of your website.
Template Color:
Use this option to update the color of the search page, to better match your website theme.
Searchable Property Types:
This option allows you to restrict the type of properties available for your website users to search. If you want to focus only on certain property types, such as “Residential,” you can adjust that here.
Allowed Cities:
This option allows you to restrict the available cities on the search options of your website.
Search Price Range:
Use this option to set a minimum and maximum price point on your website search.
Google Analytics ID:
If you have a Google Analytics ID, you can enter it here to track your search page usage. Keep in mind, this does not track a user’s behavior on your site, only that they visited this search page.
FMLS Search Control Panel (Agent)
FMLS offers a URL link that can be iFramed into an agent’s website. This is offered at no charge. This link provides a search page with both the brokerage and individual agent’s information. On the control panel, you will have the following information/options:

This is the actual link, which can be embedded into an iFrame, and will provide a search page for your website.
My Listings Link:
This link can be embedded into an iFrame, and will provide a search results page of listings where you are the listing agent for the listing.
