All About Our Registered Listing Contract Status

All About Our Registered Listing Contract Status

WHAT IS REGISTERED STATUS?

FMLS Rule 3.1 (“Mandatory Submission”) requires listing brokers to submit their listings to the MLS within 48 hours after the Exclusive Right to Sell Contract is signed by the Owner. Previously, this meant either putting the listing in the MLS as Active or Coming Soon.

The new Registered status in FMLS Matrix and in Remine add/edit allows agents and brokers to submit listing contracts to the MLS in compliance with Rule 3.1 that are neither displayed nor distributed through the MLS.

Only the listing agent, co-listing agent and their office manager, listing broker, office manager, corporate officer, head broker and FMLS staff have access to view and edit listings in Registered status.

For a Property that is in the Registered Status:

  • Public Marketing is NOT Allowed
  • No Commission is publicly offered
  • Days on Market are not counted
  • Showings of any kind are prohibited
  • Registered listings can only be removed by FMLS Staff upon receipt of a signed termination agreement from the seller.

Review the most frequently asked Registered status questions below to ensure you remain in compliance.
