Listing photos will not contain text as seen above, the image above only demonstrates some of the features restb.ai will recognize and may suggest mentioning in your photo description.

Taking advantage of this technology is as simple as uploading a photo to your listing.  You will now see a checkmark for "Auto-generate descriptions on upload using restb.ai".

Once a photo is uploaded you will see a selection made in the caption fields below.  You can always modify or delete the suggested text before saving the photos and publishing them to your listing.

FAQs:

1. What are the benefits for using Restb.AI for me as an agent/realtor/broker, and a potential listing client?

 The image description and tagging is instantaneous and descriptive, saving you large amounts of time coming up with things to say about your photos, especially if you're nearing that upper limit of 200 photos per listing!  When descriptors and tags are used, your listing becomes much more vibrant and accessible to a wider audience of clients, especially visually impaired buyer clients who can have listings read to them aloud by their personal digital assistants!  Another benefit to AI generated suggestions can help standardize verbiage to make listings more consistently searchable by clients.

2. Is the feature turned on by default for my current Active/Coming Soon listings?

 The feature is turned on by default but turning it off is easy.  When you're on the photo upload screen in Matrix (the feature will be coming soon to other add/edit platforms) simply uncheck the box to the right of where you'd upload your photos.

3. If I do not want this feature on my listings, how do I turn it off? And what are the disadvantages of having it turned off?

To turn off Restb.ai simply uncheck the box to the right of the box you'd use to upload photos to your listing in Matrix (see image above).  As mentioned in the answer to Question 1, disadvantages may include larger variance in language between agents, making hard-to-describe features harder to search for, unintentionally limiting your listing by leaving photo description fields blank, and losing a great deal of time and getting cramped fingers from typing all of those photo descriptions from scratch!

4. If Restb.AI makes a mistake on photo descriptions, can I edit it afterwards?

 Absolutely!  When you upload a photo restb.ai will automatically enter its suggestion but it does not publish until you say so.  You're free to modify the text in the description box any way you see fit - it's YOUR listing!

Note: The higher the image quality, the better the suggested description!
 

5. Once my listing is Closed, Expired, or Withdrawn, do the tags or the captions stay on the listing?

FMLS does not alter listings unless absolutely necessary.  As such, the policy for removing photos and/or descriptions remains intact:  A listing agent has 30 days once a listing closes, expires, or is withdrawn and they can remove all but the primary photo including all descriptions.  If you are outside the 30 day window, contact our Customer Support department for assistance.
